Whitey’s Journey by Kelsey Lonie is a new children’s book about a WW II canine mascot published Heritage House Publishing.
Gord Crossley is a CHS member and volunteer. Gord also volunteers with The Fort Garry Horse Museum and Archives.
Using information from their archives they have supported the writing of a new children's book, telling the story of Whitey, a collie dog that was the mascot of the regiment during the Second World War.
