RUSI Nova Scotia Speaker Event
RUSI(NS) - The Future Fighter Lead-In Training Focus Talk
11 September, 2026
The Future Fighter Lead-In Training Focus Talk will now be held Tuesday, 29 September due to a change in the availability of our speaker, Crista-Lynn Ferguson. As this may change the availability of people in your association to attend, a revised invitation is below with details about timings.
------------------------
The Royal United Services Institute of Nova Scotia extends an invitation to your association to send a representative to a Focus Talk by Crista-Lynn Ferguson, Director General Fighter Capability, RCAF, titled "RCAF Future Fighter Lead-In Training." She will speak about training and associated acquisition of a new jet training aircraft.
The event will be conducted 1330-1500 Atlantic, online via Teams.
As a Focus Talk the event will be limited to a small (12-15) audience in order to allow for detailed Q&A following the presentation. Registration is required. To register, email RUSI(NS) by end-of-day Sunday, 27 September. As subject line for the registration email, put: RUSI(NS) Focus Talk 29 September 2026 Registration. 2026 Membership renewal from $35 to $40
After many years, our costs have risen to a point where we now can no longer cover our costs and regretfully, we have made the decision to raise our Membership Dues.
This decision has not been made easily nor without significant discussion. Security requirements for access to 17 Wing and base decisions that we pay for any staff required (bar tender) and costs for room rental, which was previously complimentary, are no longer.
Other locations may also require room rentals (ANAVETS for eg.). And as we all know, our food/snack costs are increasing as well along with banking costs. Thank you for your understanding
