17 October, 2024- On Thursday evening, 17 October, LCol David Cronk, currently Base Commander at CFB Shilo, delivered a presentation at the All Ranks Mess at CFB Winnipeg on his two-year NATO posting in Poland. LCol Cronk, a veteran of four deployments to Afghanistan and Kuwait, described his multi-national J35 Plans deployment to Elblag, Poland to an appreciative audience of about 20 RMIM members as one of his best deployment experiences. RMIM President Barb Gillis presented LCol Cronk with a token of appreciation at the end of his presentation
10 June, 2024 - Cadet Warrant Officer Second Class, Krrish, Bakshi recieves the Rmim scholarship at the Hubbell Awards on 10 June 2024 at the Manitoba Legislative Building, in Winnpeg.

16 May, 2024 - The RMIM held their AGM at the 17 Wing Conference and Banquet Centre (former Officers’ Mess) with 30 members attending. Following the meeting, attendees had an opportunity to view the recently completed Service Battalion Senate 20-minute documentary on Camp Hughes. The video may be viewed on YouTube
25 April, 2024 - RMIM members and guests were treated to a one hourpresentation on “A Century of Air Power” delivered by Squadron LeaderStephen Brown about the Royal Air Force. Sqn Ldr Brown is a BritishExchange Officer currently serving with 1 Canadian Air Division as theCombat Plans Division Chief.An audience of over 30 appreciated the historical presentation andupdate on British air power.”
