A new book entitled "The History of the Militia in Kenora" is now available

We (the 116 Independent Field Battery Senate) have just published "The History of the Militia in Kenora".
It covers the history the Militia/Army Reserve presence in the city from 1887 to present.It is $30.00 per copy.
I will have them for sale at the RMIM Christmas Party on 6 December. I will be available for email/telephone orders at 204-960-3569.

2026 Membership renewal from $35 to $40

After many years, our costs have risen to a point where we now can no longer cover our costs and regretfully, we have made the decision to raise our Membership Dues. This decision has not been made easily nor without significant discussion. Security requirements for access to 17 Wing and base decisions that we pay for any staff required (bar tender) and costs for room rental, which was previously complimentary, are no longer. Other locations may also require room rentals (ANAVETS for eg.). And as we all know, our food/snack costs are increasing as well along with banking costs. Thank you for your understanding
