CAHS Manitoba Meeting

Our next Manitoba Chapter meeting will be on Thursday 24 September, at 7 pm CDT at the Royal Aviation Museum of Western Canada and by Zoom. Our speaker this month is Blaine Bjarnarson, pilot and author of Old Pilot Bold Pilot. Blaine will be speaking about some of the adventures he's had over forty years of flying Cessnas, Beavers, Otters, and Twin Otters, all across Canada, the US, the Caribbean, and the Maldives.
Our meetings are open to CAHS members and everyone interested in Canadian aviation history. The meeting poster is here. Please register as usual at CAHS-MB.

2026 Membership renewal from $35 to $40

After many years, our costs have risen to a point where we now can no longer cover our costs and regretfully, we have made the decision to raise our Membership Dues. This decision has not been made easily nor without significant discussion. Security requirements for access to 17 Wing and base decisions that we pay for any staff required (bar tender) and costs for room rental, which was previously complimentary, are no longer. Other locations may also require room rentals (ANAVETS for eg.). And as we all know, our food/snack costs are increasing as well along with banking costs. Thank you for your understanding
